Krystal Marie Balm

 Krystal Marie, who was born on on November 24, 1981 was an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for Senate in the United States, and a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is able to attribute her fascination with politics due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries. Furthermore, she observed the US presidential election during her time working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the citizens of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She was co-hosting The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 to July 2015.
