Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
